INTERNSHIPS WITH THE GLOBAL CATHOLIC CLIMATE MOVEMENT

Join Pope Francis in calling for Climate Justice!

The Global Catholic Climate Movement is a global network of over 400 member organizations and thousands of individual Catholics responding to the Pope’s call to action on care for creation in Laudato Si.  GCCM serves the Catholic family worldwide to turn Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ encyclical into action for climate justice, by undergoing our own ecological conversion, transforming our lifestyles and calling for bold public policies together with the wider climate movement.

GCCM is a new organization, founded in 2015, but we have already grown fast and had a major impact, but there is still far to go.  Because of the urgency and the scale of the global climate problem, we have set ourselves an ambitious goal.  We want to have 12 million Catholics–1% of the total population–actively engaged in action on climate change by 2020.

To achieve this ambitious goal we need a great team.  We’re looking for interns who want to be part of an ambitious movement making real change in the Church and society, and we need people who are passionate about care for creation.  If this sounds like you, and you’re interested, please see below for more information about our internships opportunities.  We are currently seeking applications for the summer and fall terms.
