Throughout our Advent Scriptures, we read that humanity was joined by the animals, the stars, and all the Earth in waiting with great anticipation for the Prince of Peace. While much of our focus is often on December 25, as faith communities we continue our Christmas celebration from Jesus’ birth until his baptism.

This Christmastime, we invite to you to celebrate Christ’s presence among us through the pulse and rhythms of nature.  As Laudato Si’ reminds us, In the Christian understanding of the world, the destiny of all creation is bound up with the mystery of Christ, present from the beginning: “All things have been created through him and for him” (Col 1:16)…. One Person of the Trinity entered into the created cosmos, throwing in his lot with it, even to the cross. (LS 99)

We’ve created a Christmas calendar to help you join all creation in celebrating God’s presence among us. It includes a Scripture, reflection, prayer, and action for every week from now until the Feast of the Baptism.
