What is COP25?
Every year for 25 years, the nations of the world have gathered in the UN-convened “Conference of the Parties” to discuss solutions to the climate crisis. A peak in this process was achieved at COP21, which was held in Paris and saw the creation of the Paris climate agreement to limit greenhouse gas emissions.

Prayer service
A prayer service for the care of our Common Home invites all Catholic participants to join it after the Climate Strike, organized by the Climate Alliance at the San Jerónimo el Real Parish. This prayer service seeks to deepen the meaning from the Catholic faith to take care all forms of life. It will also support the good results of the Climate Summit, as a measure to relieve the suffering of millions of people who will be affected by the consequences of Climate Change and the loss of biodiversity. (Organized by: Deleju, JEC, Catholic Scouts Madrid, Integral Ecology Commission, Global Catholic Climate Movement).
December 6th
Global Climate Strike
After the prayer service at Jeronimo’s Church, all Catholic entities are invited to join the Climate Strike under the same slogan “Catholics for The Care of our Common Home”.
Time: 18:00
Location: The strike will start at San Jerónimo el Real Church to join the big group that will strike between Atocha and Nuevos Ministerios

Eucharistic Celebration of Catholic representatives at COP25
Co-presided by Mons. Cabrejos (President of CELAM) and Cardinal Archbishop of Madrid, Carlos Osoro.
