GCCM participates in the Pre-Congress of Laity in the Bolivarian Region to deepen the Letter from Pope Francis to the Pontifical Commission for Latin America
At the invitation of the Department of Vocations and Ministries of the Latin American Episcopal Council, GCCM participated in the Pre-Congress of Laity in the Bolivarian Region, held between 8 and 10 August in Lima, Peru, to deepen the Letter from Pope Francis to the Pontifical Commission for Latin America.

During the three days the Theological Dimension of the Laity was dealt with by Father Ignacio Madera, Poor Church for the Poor by Dr. Aníbal Torres, Trinitarian Anthropology by Dr. Lucas Cerviño, The Social Dimension of Evangelization and the Presence of Laity in the Church and in society by Dr. Susana Nuin, Lay People and Politics by Dr. Emilce Cuda, REPAM and the commitment of the laity by Dr. María Rosa Lorbes and the laity and the economy . In addition, the MCMC shared its innovative ministry, such as the Laudato Si ‘Commitment , which was accepted by delegates from participating countries.
