Global Climate March in the Philippines
On the weekend of November 28th and 29th, hours before world leaders meet at the Paris Climate Summit, the Global Climate March will take place to ask political leaders to commit to bold action to solve the climate change crisis. The Catholic Church of the Philippines will also mobilize, joining over 1 million people who are expected to participate in this festive, family-friendly march in cities worldwide.
THE MARCH IN MANILA

The Manila climate march will simultaneously start from 3 points of assembly at 6:30am. Each group will pray the Rosary while walking towards the main assembly/activity site- Raja Sulayman Park. The main program will start at 7am and last till 11am.

November 28 is the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice. The following are some events which you are invited to join in solidarity with people affected by climate disasters and non-sustainable projects that affect the environment, as well as all who believe and promote the latest encyclical of our Holy Father, Pope Francis, to Protect our Common Home.
From 24 to 27 November, there will be PEACE Caravan (People and Environment Against Coal-based Energy Caravan)** of communities affected by coal projects in Semiara, Antique; Mindoro; Atimonan, Quezon; Batangas; Bataan and Zambales, expecting to converge in Manila on November. Possible joining points are:
24 November
10:00am at Semirara Island, Antique: send off to Bulalacao, Mindoro with PEACE Caravan
afternoon at Bulalacao, Mindoro: arrival of Caravan from Semirara
25 November
11:00/ 12noon at Victoria, Mindoro: lunch and Public Forum
5:00pm at Holy Infant Academy, Calapan: Cultural Night with PEACE Caravan
26 November
8:00/ 9:00am at Basilica of Immaculate Conception: mass with Abp. Ramon C. Arguelles, DD of Lipa
12noon at Padre Pio National Shrine, Sto Tomas: Convergence with Atimonan Caravan, Program
3:30pm at Turbina Terminal: short stopover and program
before 6:00pm at San Isidro Labrador, Binan (To be confirmed): Night program and sharing

6:00am at Bataan and Zambales: Mass before send off to Manila

9:00/10:00am at DENR, QC: Protest Rally
9:00am at DOE, Taguig: join 320 persons in Protest Rally with Caravan from the South
11am at UST, Espana with Caravan contingents from North and South: motorcade/ march to Malacanang
12noon onwards at Mendiola: program and solidarity with PEACE Caravan during Dialogue with President and Cabinet Ministers

7:00am at St Mary’s College mass and assembly to join March for Climate Justice from Quezon Avenue to Quezon Memorial Circle
29 November
8:00 at Raja Sulayman Park, Roxas Blvd, Manila: Interfaith Prayer Service with Talk on Climate Change and Ecological issues (reclamation, mining and logging, typhoon-affected communities, ending with Eucharistic celebration and Freedom Wall Painting) – organized by GCCM
